Négociant is your neighborhood wine shop, cheese counter & café located in the heart of NW Portland. We started with a simple idea: bring everything we love under one roof and share it with the people around us.

Our market is built around the way we actually eat and shop. Think grabbing a quick sandwich, keeping French butter in the fridge (a must), and always having a tin of sardines on hand. A lot of what we stock travels beautifully into a picnic basket, onto a cheese board, or wrapped up as something special to bring to a dinner party. Host(ess) gift, sorted.

Our wine program centers on independent producers and wines that have something to say. From grower Champagne and Old World classics to Pacific Northwest expressions and thoughtfully made natural wine, we love a great Meursault and a well-made pét-nat in equal measure.

And there's usually something happening. Weekly Wine Wednesday tastings, live music, special events, and the occasional surprise. Check the calendar and come find us.
